Sam (Ladyfish) Quinn: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; I'm an eclectic combination of friend, wife, lover, mom, sister, and grandma. I'm cynical in an optimistic way, I don't suffer fools in a patient way, and I am reticent about my emotions in an open way!

Fisherman - my best friend (and my husband)
Dennis - my 32-year-old mountain man son
Amanda - my 29-year-old too-much-like-me daughter
Kevin - Amanda's partner and overall good sport
Westen - my first grandchild, son of Kevin & Amanda, born January 5, 2010
Eric - my 19-year-old you-mean-there's-someone-else-in-the-world-besides-me stepson
Alex - my 16-year-old always-amenable and low-maintenance stepson
Nova, Bubby, Orca, Tank, Jones, & Charlie - my cats
Sausage Man & Spot - my fish
