Does Two Months Make A Difference?

 No...not really. It's been almost two months since my last entry and there's very little difference at all.

Hmmm...well...I guess that's not completely true:

• there's no snow and the sun is shining today...although it's still really cold out and I am far from inspired to dig out my flip-flops
• my son celebrated his 31st birthday and for some reason that makes me feel even older than being a grandma
• my taxes are filed...that definitely wasn't true two months ago
• I have picked up a new journal for work and that should give me a few more $$$ then I had two months ago
• there are leaves (almost) on the trees and the lawn needs mowing (it needed shoveling two months ago)
• I've dabbled in all sorts of new cookie and cake recipes (some keepers and some losers)
• my pile of new cross-stitch and quilting patterns is much higher (shhhh...don't spread that one around...at least not where my husband can hear it)
• the boat is ready for her "Spring refit" and needs even more work then she did two months ago (the floating Money Pit knows no limits)

Geez...now that I think about it, I guess two months can make a difference...and I didn't even mention the new wrinkles and sags that have appeared!
